October 1, 2022
October is Pastor Appreciation Month and every year, we celebrate聽 鈥淧astor Appreciation Day鈥 here at 麻豆精品 in honour of our beloved Pastors and ministry partners!聽 Hebrews 13:7 inspires us to 鈥淩emember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you.鈥聽 麻豆精品 recognizes and appreciates the huge role that pastors play in our faith community. 麻豆精品鈥檚 annual Pastor Appreciation Day is also our way of affirming the importance of home, church, and school working together in training our children in the way they should go.
This year’s Pastor Appreciation Day will be on Thursday, October 13th at our High School Chapel in Coquitlam (the venue has been changed this year from Fernwood, PoCo).聽 If your family is attending a church, please find an attached save-the-date card that you can personally hand to your pastor/s.聽 Often, pastors find it hard to say 鈥渘o鈥 when a student who goes to their church invites them. Please note that an e-mail invitation has also been sent to some of the pastors in the Lower Mainland. We will start the day with a brunch, followed by a short program.聽 We are very blessed that Pastor David Wood of Coquitlam Alliance Church will be our inspirational speaker for this year’s Pastor Appreciation Day.
Recently, especially during the pandemic, we have seen how pastors labour in shepherding the flock. We are so grateful for their sacrifice and commitment to their calling even in the midst of a difficult season.聽 May this year鈥檚 Pastor Appreciation Day encourage and remind them of how precious they are to God and to our 麻豆精品 community.聽
Please reach out to the Marketing Office if you need more invitations.聽 Pastors may send their RSVP via
We are also in need of volunteers to help us organize this event and to put together a wonderful brunch for our guests. 聽 Please sign up to help or bring a dish. Here is the link to our signup
Please do not hesitate to reach out to us if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you!
