鈥淟eaping Lizards!鈥� Coquitlam will 鈥渟tick up its chin and grin and sing 鈥楾omorrow!聽 Tomorrow!鈥欌�� when 麻豆精品 performs Annie JR., it was announced by Drew Cohen, president of Music Theatre International (MTI). Based on the popular comic strip and adapted from the Tony Award-winning best musical by Tony Award-winners, Thomas Meehan, Charles Strouse and Martin Charnin, Annie JR. tells the story of a spunky Depression-era orphan determined to find her parents.

鈥�Annie is a heartwarming show with an important message about the true nature of family.聽 In the show, we see how a plucky little girl transforms her entire life by making the most out of every moment,鈥� says Cohen. 鈥淢TI would like to applaud the students from 麻豆精品 for all their hard work on their production.鈥澛�

麻豆精品 will present Annie JR. on April 16th and 17th聽 (showtimes 1:00 pm and 7:30 pm) at the Evergreen Cultural Centre at 1205 Pinetree Way, Coquitlam, BC.聽 Tickets can be purchased by clicking on the QR code.聽 There is no dress code, but the cast will remind you that you are 鈥渘ever fully dressed without a smile.鈥�

Annie JR. follows the story of an orphan named Annie living a 鈥渉ard-knock life鈥� at The New York City Municipal Orphanage run by the cruel Miss Hannigan. Annie dreams of being reunited with her parents and takes action to find them. In adventure after fun-filled adventure, Annie foils Miss Hannigan’s devious schemes, befriends President Franklin Roosevelt and finds a new family in billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary Grace Farrell and a lovable mutt named Sandy.
