Giving perfectly aligns with our 3 C’s of Christ, Community, and Compassion. It’s an expression of our faith and our obedience to the Lord’s command to love and serve others as inspired by Hebrews 13:16 “And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.”

This year’s Giving Tuesday falls on December 3rd and we invite you to reflect on how you can participate in our giving campaigns and create a culture of joyful giving at 麻豆精品.

As in past years, our GivingTuesday campaign has two goals:

1. GIVING TO OUR SCHOOL

As an independent school, 麻豆精品 receives partial funding from the government, and there is a gap between the tuition fees we collect and the actual cost of operating our school. To bridge this gap for the 2024-25 school year, our goal is to raise $80,300 towards our Annual Fund by the end of the school year.

We鈥檙e also excited to announce that we鈥檙e close to covering the remaining $73,000 needed to fully fund our new electric school bus, which we hope to have ready for use early next year. Click here for details from Mr. Jarvie about our 麻豆精品 electric bus campaign.

Your donations make a tangible difference, impacting not only our current students but generations to come.

To make your secure, tax-deductible donation (麻豆精品 is non-profit charitable organization and issues donation receipts), please see the following ways to give.

a. Make one time or Monthly donation to 麻豆精品 either towards our General Fund or Bus Fund (click on the Fund dropdown menu). Here are the ways you can give —

• via Canada Helps or on our Donate Button on website
• E-TRANSFER to accounts@bccaschool.ca (password: “bccaschool”)
• Make a check payable to 麻豆精品 and mail it or drop it off at our Fernwood campus front office.
• 
  Check if your employer offers a Matching Gifts Program and double your donation. Many companies in Canada match employee donations to charities like 麻豆精品.

b. Support our Fundraisers

• : Purchase delicious chocolates, and 25% of the sales go to 麻豆精品! Sign in with our school鈥檚 Customer Number 65179 and email anaenduma@bccaschool.ca. Order Deadline is Dec 1
• : Order lunch for your child through Munchalunch, and a portion supports 麻豆精品.
• Recycling: Donate your beverage containers at any Express location. Label your bags to log in at an Express Kiosk with the school phone number, 604-941-8426, for refunds to 麻豆精品.

2. GIVING BACK TO OUR COMMUNITY

Our commitment to giving extends far beyond our school walls.

Here are the list of our inspiring giving-back projects:

• : Help fill shoe boxes for children in need. Deadline: Nov 18.
• : High school students will join City Reach for outreach in Vancouver on Nov 30.
• Food Drive with Coquitlam Alliance Church: Donate food items to help those in need. Donation bins are conveniently located at all 3 campus. Deadline: Dec 13.
• Making Christmas Cards for Seniors: Share joy with seniors through homemade cards.Drop-off boxes are available at our Elementary and Middle School campus locations. Deadline: Dec 9.
• Caroling at Senior Homes: MS Handbell Choir will spread Christmas cheer at on Dec 10.
